Seward, 87, of Flora, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Mon- day, March 19, 2018 in the Emergency Room at St. Elizabeth East Hospital in Lafayette. Bill was born on April 2, 1930 in Flora, IN to the late Floyd Daniel and Lottie Quinn Seward. On February 5, 1949 in Burlington, IN Bill mar- ried Rosalee Bowman, the love of his life and she preceded him on December 16, 2017.

Bill was a proud hard-working farmer in Carroll County. He and his wife had a vegetable stand at their home during the summer for many years. He also worked at Zinn Cabinets, Mansfield In- sulation in Flora and Rockwell International in Logansport. He was a man of faith attending the Burlington Church of Christ and served as a trustee, a deacon and part time custodian. He was a member of the masonic lodge in Burlington.

Bill is survived by a daughter and son-in-law: Nancy and Gilbert Gordon of Lafayette; six grand- children, eleven great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. He is preceded by his parents, wife, four sisters, son-Tom and daugh- ter-Rita. family invites friends to visit Saturday, April 7, 2018 from 9:30 AM till time of Celebra- tion of Life service at 11:00 AM at Wheeler Family Funeral Home-Baker Chapel, 204 South Center Street, Flora, IN 46929. Seward KNIGHTSVILLE Norma Jean (Wells) Routt, Born in Knightsville, IN on October 18, 1927, the daughter of Clarence L. and Martha (Reed) Wells.

Graduated from Brazil High School in 1945, where she was a member of the National Honor Society. She attended Indiana State Teachers College for one year. Worked as a secretary for nearly 30 years. Was an employee of Eli Lilly and Company in Lafayette, IN, for 22 years, retiring in 1988 as an executive secretary. Married to Gordon M.

Routt in February 1973, and he passed in December, 2001. Moved to Mason, OH in 2006 to be closer to family. Moved to The Christian Village at Mason in 2014. Was a member of the Elmwood Church of Christ while a resident of Lafayette and of Church at Mason while a resident there. She was a year member of the Order of Eastern Star, Kinghtsville Chapter She enjoyed spending time with her family, reading, traveling, music, and cooking.

Preceded in death by her parents, husband Gordon M. Routt, brother Richard L. Wells, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Survived by her son Brent M. Brown (Ruth) of Liberty OH, grandsons Joshua D.

Brown (Jamie) of Liberty OH and David J. Brown (Shannon) of Fishers, IN and great-granddaughters Grace and Lillian Brown. Also survived by her nieces Kathy Deal (Jim) and Karen Webb (Bill) of Brazil, IN, cousins Mary Egloff and Ralph Egloff of Brazil, IN and Judy Randall of Carbon, IN and her sister-in-laws Joan Wells of Brazil, IN and Mary Lou Long of Indianapolis, IN. Visitation will take place Friday, April 6, 2018, from 11 a.m. until the time of funeral service at 12 noon at The Christian Village at Mason Chapel, 411 Western Row Rd, Mason, OH 45040.

Another funeral service will take place Saturday April 7, 2018 with visitation from 12 noon until time of funeral service at 12:30 p.m. at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens Cemetery Chapel, 1718 W. 350 North, West Lafayette, IN 47906. Cincinnati, Ohio 45242 Norma Jean (Wells) Routt LAFAYETTE Art, 71, was released from his fight with Cancer on March 28, 2018, while at home with his wife and Grand-Daughter by his side.

Art was a Navy Veteran from the Vietnam era. Art was a Police K-9 Officer in Newport News, Virginia where he and his wife, Sandra, of years, graduated from Newport News High School. Art graduated from Thomas Nelson College, in Hampton, Virginia with a Degree in Criminal Justice. Art and Sandra relocated to Lafayette, Indiana in 1995, where most recently he was employed by Tyson Foods in Logansport, Indiana. Art enjoyed being at home with his family, read- ing, fishing, and crafts, making Dream Catchers, Medicine Bags, and Coup Sticks.

Art was preceded in death by his parents and two siblings. Surviving him are his wife, Sandra McJunkin, a daughter, two Grand-Children including Saman- tha Thompson, and two Great Grand-Children and a sister. Arthur L. McJunkin WEST LAFAYETTE Lucille A. (Lawson) Win- gard, 96, of West Lafayette, passed away at 6:55 PM, Monday, April 2, 2018 at St.

Anthony Healthcare of Lafayette. She was born November 13, 1921 in Wolcott to the late Manford and Anna (Catterson) Lawson. She was a 1939 graduate of Wolcott High School. Her marriage was to Donald Roy Wingard on May 24, 1941. He preceded her in death on June 26, 1987.

After her brother Elwood passed at an early age, Lucille became a second mother to his girls; Cathie Geier, and Connie Spall. Lucille was a member of the Hoosier Hoppers Square Dance Club, Euchre Club, former member of Remington United Methodist Church, Home Ec Club of Remington, 77 year member of Eastern Star, and for the past 18 years attended Brown Street United Methodist Church of Lafayette where she loved to hear her daughter play the organ. Lucille was known for her excellent seamstress skills, she even made wedding dresses before macular degeneration took her sight. She loved spending summers with Don on the river in Buffalo. Her passion for fishing and traveling to all but two states with her husband Don was only rivaled by continuous love and support for her Chicago Cubs.

Above all, Lucille will be remembered for her boundless love and compassion by family and friends. Her independent spirit kept her going, as she was determined to be self sufficient to the end. Those left to carry on her legacy of love include her daughter, Marsha Kuebler (husband: Kurt) of Lafayette; grandchildren, Kevin Kuebler (wife: Brianne), and Alicia Kuebler. Also surviving are her great-granddaughters, MacKenzie, Kaylee, and Allison. Preceding her in death along with her parents and husband are 7 brothers, Robert, Ralph, Manford, Clarence, Harry, Alfred, and Elwood.

Friends may call from 10 AM (EST) until the time of Funeral Service 12 PM (EST), Saturday, April 7, 2018 at Brown Street United Methodist Church of Lafayette. Rev. Bruce Mowery and Rev. Ryan Traeger to officiate. Interment to follow in Tippecanoe Memory Garden of West Lafayette.

Walker, 83, of Chalm- ers, passed away Monday, April 2, 2018 at his resi- dence. He was born June 24, 1934 in Tazewell, TN to the late Sylus and Flora Walker. His marriage was to Al- tie L. Brooks on January 23, 1954 in New Tazewell, TN. Altie preceded him in death on September 9, 2010.

Charles worked on the family farm after high school in Tennessee until his move to Indiana in 1958. He worked for Paul Whitaker farming before beginning his career at RCA of Monticello as a cabinet maker. Charles eventually retired from Monon Trailer. Charles enjoyed tending to his garden each year, fishing, and camping at Jelly Stone Park of Plymouth, IN on the weekends with his wife. He was a strong family man and enjoyed spending quality time with his family and friends.

Surviving are 4 sons, Mac Walker of Eldorado, IL, Charlie Walker of Tazewell, TN, Robert Walker (wife: Cathy) of Rensselaer, and Phillip Walker of Chalmers. Also surviving are 5 grandchildren, Matt, Tonya, Nichole, David, and C.J.; numerous great and great-great grand- children. Preceding him in death along with his parents and wife is a son, Raymond Walker; grandchildren, Cassie Walker, Joshua Walker, and Justin Walker; daughter-in-law, Pat Walker. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Private interment will be held at Chalmers Com- munity Cemetery.

He was the son of the late George Hawkins Sr. and Ethel Jackson Hawkins, born on September 6, 1943 in Hurtsboro, AL.
